Oslo Opera House. We had great days in Oslo and enjoyed the city, museums and architecture. The low light of December days in Scandinavia is a challenge for every photographer.

Hard to beat this beach for walking...

The churches, places intended to meet the needs of Christian worship, are a characteristic and inextricable element of the Greek landscape. Their decoration – whether painting, mosaic or other - always reflects the Orthodox doctrine, following specific style trends and established iconographic programmes.

The soft beams of light seem so perfect for this remote paradise. Life slows to a crawl and one doesn't seem to have a care in the world. The Seychelles are indeed remote and La Digue where this was taken is even further away from the rest of the world.

I don't want you to get too bored with Venice or Africa and the Indian Ocean so I will continue to mix them up.

A 5am alarm clock followed by a quick coffee and bite to eat then in the car for the 10min drive to the Rhyd Ddu Path, the forecast was promising with reports of no wind and rain and mist in the valleys.

I set off at 6am and headed for the summit of Yr Aran in complete darkness giving myself plenty of time to be their for first light, there was plenty of cloud cover on route with the odd star making an apperance every now and then, I knew that is was going to go either way come sunrise.

The sunrise colours did'nt come to fruition but the fog rolling in made up for that, I spent around 2hours in total taking in the views great place to be.

Early October around the Obersee in the Bielefeld Area.

This was the first time I had driven down to the beach in Long Beach, Washington state. The town, itself, is a lot of fun...a lot of fun little shops and restaurants...a very nice place to spend an afternoon. Then we drove down to the actual beach at sunset (one of my favorite things to do!) I love how there were several layers of land and sea...pretty cool! Hope you enjoy!

Athabasca Falls in September when the flow is low. This falls is not known so much for the height of the falls (76 feet, 23 metres), as it is known for its force due to the large quantity of water falling into the gorge. Can be tough to get a shot from this spot in the Spring. Lots of misty and spray.

Another must stop along the Icefields Parkway, which is in view on the other side of the river.

More shots in comments.

Many thanks for taking a look!

While walking the canyon rim, I couldn't help myself enough to the amazing view, the intricate geological details and random shading provided by the high clouds. As I walked my angle to the scene before me changed, all the players are the same but have now slowly moved into different positions. So fascinating to me that on several occasions I stumbled on the trail because I couldn't look away. What an amazing wonderland of textures and details chiseled away over eons making up the "Grand Canyon". I've heard that the view from the North Rim is even more spectacular than this view from the South Rim. Next time I'm on my way to the southwest I will have to stop by there and see for myself. Sitting here taking in the view I decided to break out the 70-200mm and shoot some close-ups. :)

Thanks for taking the time to take a look at my photos, and as always, your views, comments, faves, and support are greatly appreciated!! Have a great Thursday!! :)
